American Idol (19 Mar 2009)

Last year, for the first time I watched American Idol passed the audition stage and actually enjoyed it, David Cook did this awesome version of Chris Cornell's version of Billie Jean. I rooted for David Cook and had high hopes for him but his album pretty much sucks, I think he gave into what his label wanted (at least i hope thats what he did).

I now watch American Idol because I want to see if anyone does an awesome cover of a song I love.

My favorites so far this season:
Adam Lambert - Black and White
Allison Iraheta - Alone and Give In to Me
Megan Joy - Put Your Records On

This year my top 3 favorites are:

3. Megan Joy - Love her very fun voice.
2. Adam Lambert - I dont remember who the judges compared him to but his voice kind of reminds me of Axel Rose.
1. Allison Iraheta - OMG shes 16 I cannot believe it... I LOVE her voice.

If any of these three put out the right album Id probably support them... I hope they dont pull a David Cook.

Random Comments:

Its BULLSHIT that Allison was in the bottom three last night... what the hell is America watching?!?

My bottom three:
1. Scott Maclntyre - I dont care that hes blind... his sympathy votes are taking away from the people who are really good (Allison)
2. Michael Sarver - This guy sucks. <--- period... I hope hes the next to get the boot. 3. Alexie Grace - I love the song Jolene specifically Me First and the Gimme Gimmes version but she butchered the song. She ended up getting the boot too which is all good with me.

Danny Gokey sucks as well, maybe not as bad as my choices for bottom three but you know hes going to get into the top 4, 3, 2 (maybe) because of his SOB story...
